i believe the characters are from F ~fanatic~, a game
illustrated by Chisato Naruse. The opening video has hints of "photographs
destroyed by fire" as a theme, so this sort of background is probably quite
appropriate. Good job!
Quote by Seran (and some copy-paste
weirdoes)Very tempting image indeed. The Category is (I am surprised
that noone havent said it before) Maburaho. I am quite sure that it is,because I
couldnt forget such a character as Kazetsubaki Kuriko.
It's not Maburaho. She's from a game called "Lunar Wing", I think her
name is Silfa or Silfana. She doesn't even look that much like Kuriko...
It's not a series as such, she's a made-up character representing a type of
Biscuit (the thing on her head) sold by KFC in japan. You eat them with maple
syrup.
Thanks for the hi-res scan of this. The other copies I've seen have all been
pretty small, even though it was only postcard-sized to start with. It's cute.
^^
I haven't seen any Angel/Dust characters with light blue hair... I think this is
something original done for the artbook cover. Moving to Aoi Nanase category for
now.
It says "Pumpkin Scissors" in the corner.

series is Wagamama Fairy Mirumo de Pon!
I wonder if it's Clover-inspired. Certainly looks that way...
The artist's pen name is "Kawaku", and their homepage is here:
www.ne.jp/asahi/lo.da/kawaku/
The series is "Romance wa Tsurugi no Kagayaki 2".
(Sometimes called "Romance wa Ken no Kagayaki 2", as it can be read both ways. Abbreviated as "Romaken".)
She's Rena Ryuuguu, from "Higurashi no Naku Koroni"
"Puraibe Tobichi" is "Private Beach".
And... I don't recognise this as anyone from To Heart 2. Are you sure that's what it is?
It's from Shin Angyou Onshi.
Wow, gorgeous composition.

She's playing gundam, you know. Look up "MA-04x Zakrello". That picture isn't related to the knife scene in the series.
In the "Colorful Wind" artbook it's listed as "Original", and it's not in the Full Metal Panic section. She does look like Tessa though...
Yes, it's a sun. I wonder how many people get the reference... "Saitama Saitama!"

Takako Kuwashima from the Leaf game "Tasogare".

Uhm, this isn't by Carnelian. It's from Hiro Suzuhira's CG collection called "Memories".
> Shinobu n Sarah
No, Kaede and Hatsune from the Leaf game "Kizuato".
Artist is Naru Nanao, there's an 'illustration:' credit in the corner with her name in kanji. Shizuku Kano might be the character's name.
> but with whom?
The heart says "To Batou-san" ^_^

not Chitose, she's Akari Usada from "Digi Charat nyo".
She's from one of the "Natural" games.
